St. Michaels University School’s mission states that we provide our students with outstanding preparation for higher learning and for life. This blog will put our mission to the test as we follow five of our graduates from the class of 2008 through their first year of university.
Meet the bloggers
Josh was a SMUS day student. He is starting his first year at Yale University in the US.
Riley was a SMUS day student. He is starting his first year at the International Study Centre in Herstmonceaux Castle, England.
Brittney was a SMUS boarding student from Vancouver, BC. She is starting her first year at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Morgan was a boarding student in Timmis House from Grades 10-12. During that time, she committed herself to many groups within the school: the Student Theatre Society, The Business Club and Amnesty International, among others. Her experiences at SMUS have now led her to a BFA at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. At Concordia she is specializing in Theatre and Development which is a program that focuses on using theatre for social change.
Kathryn was a SMUS day student. She is starting her first year at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
