The Oak Bay Half Marathon is coming up on Sunday, May 27. We need a team of volunteers to help out at one of the water/energy gel stations. Chaperone and transportation provided!

Please sign up on-line.

The Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association is looking for volunteer side walkers. The primary responsibility of the side-walker is to ensure the safety of the rider at all times. The side walker can help the instructor in many ways (eg. keeping the rider’s attention on the lesson and help to communicate or explain directions). All side walkers must have attended at least one training session before being allowed to assist riders.

The time commitment is 3 months or less and most of the shifts are on weekdays during the daytime. All volunteers need to be 16 years old or older. For more information visit http://vtra.ca/volunteer/
