SMUS Alumni Weekend is coming up and Archives needs help getting ready. They need volunteer trophy polishers to get the silver shiny!

The Moss Street Market is starting up soon and they need help on Saturdays. Volunteers are needed for set-up, the kids tent, take-down, green team and coffee tent. The times vary, but are between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Selkirk Waterfront Festival is on Sunday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This fun-filled multicultural family event offers something for everyone. Enjoy exciting activities in the Family FUN Zone, world cuisine in the international food court, and unique arts and crafts in the colourful street market. There will also be live music and dancing.

Volunteers are needed for many areas of the festival including vendor assistants, café crew, parking crew, stage assistants, children’s fun zone leaders, and set-up and take-down crew. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please call Travis at 250-388-5251 or email him at

On Saturday, April 28 the Junior School Parents Auxiliary is holding a “Name That Tune” event. They need two volunteers to help out from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Junior School to help refill snack bowls, help keep things tidy and help with take-down after the event.
