SMUS students volunteered at Hot Dog Wednesday yesterday!

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is hosting Santa’s Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, December 9. They need volunteers for a variety of duties.

Santa’s Pancake Breakfast is an annual Christmas event for families featuring musical entertainment, crafts and activities, a delicious pancake breakfast and photos with Santa!

Most volunteer times are from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

– Greeters
– Kitchen Crew
– Parking Crew
– Santa’s Helpers
– Elves
– Kitchen Coordinator
– Servers
– Clean-up Crew (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)

Mount St. Mary Hospital is looking for volunteers for a variety of activities and duties. Some of these include games nights, helping in the gift shop and reading. Mount St. Mary Hospital is a caring community where individuals requiring complex care services live in a home-like setting that supports their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Habitat for Humanity is once again putting on the annual Gingerbread Showcase. These are no ordinary gingerbread houses! The event brings together professional and amateur bakers from Vancouver Island and highlights their creativity while supporting the work of Habitat Victoria.

They need Volunteer Ambassadors from November 18 to January 2. Various shifts are available. This year it is at the Parkside Hotel and Spa in downtown Victoria. All funds raised go to Habitat Victoria. Visit www.habitatvictoria.com/volunteer if you would like to get involved.
