SMUS in the News: Simon Ibell ’96 Passes Away

Simon Ibell

We are deeply saddened that Simon Ibell ’96 passed away on May 26, 2017.

Simon had a rare disease, Hunter’s Syndrome, and spent the better part of his life raising money for and awareness of rare diseases. He was an active part of our community as a student and as an alumnus. Beyond that, he was a very active part in the communities on Vancouver Island and Toronto.
