Service Opportunities – March 30

Souper-Bowls-of-hopeThe 19th annual Souper Bowls of Hope event is on Thursday, April 6 at the Victoria Conference Centre.

Souper Bowls is Victoria Youth Empowerment Society’s Iconic Lunchtime event that brings the Citizens of Greater Victoria and the Downtown Business community together to raise funds in support of street entrenched, homeless, and youth at risk in the downtown core.

They would love to do a “Facebook live” stream at the event and they need a volunteer videographer who has the right the equipment so the quality is very good. Transportation is provided. It is on a Thursday so you need to be free during part of the school day.

If you are interested, please email Ms. Parker at laurie.parker@smus.ca.
