Service Opportunities – April 15

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:

Shape Your CityVolunteer Opportunity: City of Victoria Youth Engagement Team – Help Shape the Future of Your City!

Why Youth Engagement?

Youth represent 15% of the City of Victoria’s population but are underrepresented in the City’s planning process. This is your chance to shape the way the City engages with young people. Help the City find ways to get more people involved with their local government and community. Whether is it how they communicate information or the need for more youth focused events, or anything else, they want to hear from more youth and find out what gets young people excited about where they live.

What Will the Youth Engagement Team Do?

Over the course of the summer the Youth Team will reach out to their peers to find out what is important to youth about their City. The Team will create a plan to identify opportunities to get more youth involved in their local government and community.
