Artemis Place Society (just up the road on Richmond) is looking for volunteers to help care for their bunnies.
They have two very sweet bunnies that live at the school and they need to be fed and let out for some exercise on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). They need someone (or a group of 2-3 friends) who is willing to spend 30-60 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a long term commitment and some experience with pets/animals would be helpful.
If you are interested please email Mrs. Parker.
Artemis Place Society was initiated in 1971 in response to a concern over the lack of resources for young women who had left school or who were experiencing difficulty with the traditional school system. At that time, the society established the Girls’ Alternative Program (GAP) to meet the educational and social needs of young women in a smaller, more personal setting. As well as help with self-paced course work, girls were given counselling, mentorship and life skills in an atmosphere of safety and respect.
