This original Victorian home on the Gorge waterway in Victoria, British Columbia built in 1861, holds one of North America’s largest collections of Victoriana. The gardens contain some of the original heritage roses and hollyhocks. Tour the house and stay for afternoon tea on the lawn.

Volunteer Position Description
Interested in historic gardens? Point Ellice House, a National Historic Site, is looking for volunteers for the spring cleanup.

You do not have to be an expert gardener – an interest in gardens and a desire to work on the Gorge in a beautifully restored garden and 3 hours a week are all that are required. Sunday mornings 9 to 12 from April 1 to October 31st. Please contact [email protected]
