The Bedside Singers, in pairs, offer gentle lullaby-type songs to palliative patients in their rooms at Victoria Hospice (Richmond Pavilion – RJH site). Hospice Care is for people who are nearing the ends of their lives. Because this role involves working alongside vulnerable patients and families – extensive screening and training is required.

Please note the following requirements:
•Bedside Singers shifts are on Monday/Thursday and Saturday early evenings
•Bedside Singers attend Singer training through the including some of the Clinical Unit Volunteer Training
•Bedside Singers have a flu shot each autumn
•Bedside Singers submit a completed criminal record check
•Bedside Singers attend two practices a month on Wednesday evenings
