Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association

VTRABecome a Volunteer

The VTRA relies largely upon volunteer support to make this program work. Through people‘s dedication and generosity, more than 140 children and adults with disabilities are able to ride every week. There are many opportunities that will enrich your life both personally and professionally. They are always looking for new volunteers to join their program.

  • Horse Handler: Leading horses during lessons. Previous horse experience and assessment required.
  • Club House Host: Greeting riders and volunteers, directing inquiries, general duties as required.
  • Fundraising: Assisting the board before and during events.
  • Tack Store Staff: Opening the tack store, selling tack. Knowledge of tack an asset.
