The City of Victoria Youth Council is a diverse group of 14 – 24 year olds who live, work, hang out or go to school in the City of Victoria. By organizing awesome projects and working with City of Victoria Staff and City Council, they are making our community a better place and allowing young voices to be heard.
Why join? Being on the CVYC is a great way to gain volunteer experience and get involved in local politics and neat projects! This is an opportunity to make change happen in our city. The CVYC has opened doors and given many opportunities to past members. This has included internships, community awards, positions on City Council committees, project grants, and scholarships. More importantly, many have formed life long friendships.
