In her final parent talk for the school year, Director of Learning Heather Clayton discusses personalized learning and how SMUS teachers use our growing understanding of the brain to better address the individual needs of our students. Middle School mathematics teacher Richard De Merchant also speaks on the challenges of making sure students truly understand the concepts at the heart of mathematics and Director of Leadership Becky Anderson also talks about student reactions to an online strengths assessment at the Middle School and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® at the Senior School.
