Royal BC Museum

RBCMThe Royal BC Museum is looking for volunteers for two different positions.

1. The Lobby Host position helps out when larger groups visit. Some of the duties will include assisting with managing lines/crowd/groups and includes arranging school groups with storage bins; directing people; showing them how to line-up and how to move through the space. They need volunteers who are comfortable with crowds, and have a strong visitor-service focus.

2. The Royal Museum Shop carry high quality items including First Nation’s art, British Columbia products, and a wide selection of books that reflect the human and natural history of our magnificent province. You will meet visitors from all over the world. Volunteers must be friendly and outgoing, and enjoy working with the public in a busy environment. Most available shifts are on weekends. Training about the product and customer service is provided. Does not involve Cash Handling
