Starting at SMUS: A Parent Perspective

One of the most important aspects to becoming a boarder at SMUS is the new boarder orientation. Sculpted by the Admissions team and aided by faculty, staff and houseparents from across campus, the orientation days allow new students to acclimatize, settle in and meet other new boarders before everyone else arrives.

In this video series, Michael Kingsley-Nyinah and Kheiro Bulle, parents of two new Grade 9 and 11 international boarders, talk about their orientation and how they chose SMUS, including their impressions of Victoria as a city, what concerns and questions they had about boarding school and what it was like to meet other boarding parents.
