Do you love nature? Are you looking for a FUN, outdoor volunteer experience working with kids? Then this is for you!
The Friends Uniting for Nature Society are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out at their FUN environmental day camps. Camps run Monday-Friday, July 2 to August 23, from 9am- 4pm.
FUN Camps is based out of the St. Matthias Church at 600 Richmond Ave. Volunteers come for an entire week or more and must be 17 or older. As a volunteer counsellor, you will have an opportunity to help run these eco-kids camps and develop a workshop or activity with your expertise. Please go to www.funsociety.ca to view the themes for each week and pick out one you’re interested in.
They ask that volunteers commit to a full week as it is in the best interest for the campers (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm), but they are flexible. The camps are so much FUN you will probably want to do more than one week!!!
