The James Bay Community Project (547 Michigan Street) is looking for volunteers to help at their thrift store.

They need volunteers to assist in their thrift store “The Community Closet“. Duties include checking the condition of clothing donations and preparing clothing to go out into the store. They are also looking for people to work in the store “on the floor”.  The time commitment is once a week for approximately one shift per week. The store operates Monday – Saturday. Shifts are 2 hours in length. The day and time are flexible to suit your schedule.

The James Bay Community Project’s mission is to build healthy, inclusive community in James Bay and beyond by operating and facilitating programs and services that support families, youth, seniors, individuals and groups.
