Eat, Drink and Be Scary in Boarding

While some people find school itself terrifying, fear takes on a whole new meaning at SMUS during Halloween. Timmis House continued a tradition of scaring the daylights out of their fellow boarders with their annual Haunted House. It was so scary that no cameras were allowed in, but we did capture images of Timmis Tigers preparing to stuff participants full of an unholy amount of sugar for the event.

Eight hosts and several performers took Howlapalooza to a new level this year. From hip-hop to classical guitar, the Boss and ballads galore, students and houseparents entertained in a show that has become a Halloween institution at SMUS. On Halloween night, boarders and the surrounding community gathered for Shane Archer’s brilliant fireworks show in front of School House.
