PRA, SAT & ACT on our campus

SMUS-University-Counselling

‘Tis the season for sharpening pencils, filling in bubbles, and reasoning your way through problems! Many students applying to a US college or university will need to provide either an SAT or an ACT score. The two standardized tests are very different and students tend to score better on one test than another. If you would like to find out which test is better suited to your particular academic strengths, take the Princeton Review Assessment (PRA) here at SMUS. This test contains elements of both the ACT and the SAT, and you will receive a report that explains which test is better suited for you.

The next PRA will be held on Saturday, September 22 from noon to 4:00 pm. The score report will be available by October 1 which leaves time for you to then register for the test of your choice, and tailor your preparation appropriately. More details and online registration can be found at www.smus.ca/programs/extension/workshops

Remember to check in with your University Counsellor about your university/college applications. We are here to help!
