Middle School House Games

Last Wednesday, the Middle School was a buzz of activity in eager anticipation of the annual end-of-year House Sports Day competition! There was a splash of coloured house shirts – Barnacle (Red), Winslow (Yellow), Wenman (Blue) & Bolton (Black)

The weather was a little dubious, but we forged ahead. In the afternoon, the sun shone, the grass dried and we were ready for action out on the field!

Starting with the 4 x 100 relays and moving through the egg & spoon, balloon bust, hoppin’ potato sack race, unique approaches to the three-legged race, slimy egg toss and the grand finale – the tug-o-war – it was an afternoon of cheering and gales of laughter!

In spite of a tough-fought competition throughout the afternoon, Wenman just edged Bolton to take first place! Winslow and Barnacle were gracious in their tie for third!
