Noisy Kids Reading Club Youth Leader

The Noisy Kids Reading Club was created to help children discover reading can be fun — and noisy! Volunteers will lead small group activities and games with children entering Grades 2, 3, and 4. Volunteers will also read with children, supervise and assist with distribution of snacks, set up and clean up. Working with one or more youth (ages 16 to 30), you will assist a READ teacher in delivering the Noisy Kids Reading Club summer program.

This position requires a Criminal Record Check. As this can take several weeks, please contact them immediately to get a letter to bring to the police so there will be no cost to you for the CRC.

The sessions run for three hours per day for five days from 9:00 am to 12:00  pm on Monday to Friday. Clubs are offered July 18 to 22; July 25 to 29; August 8 to 12; August 15 to 19 and August 22 to 26.

Training sessions will be held on July 13th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. OR August 3th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
