Special Olympics offers sports and competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Special Olympics volunteer, you bring enthusiasm, commitment and a positive attitude to each practice, event and competition, enriching the lives of the athletes you meet. In return, you develop relationships with athletes who inspire you with their dedication, perseverance and courage. You learn new skills, meet new people and gain unique experiences, enriching your own life.
They are looking for assistant coaches and program helpers. You do not need to be an expert althlete to help out!
The spring sports are:
Track & Field: Mondays April 4 to June 20, 6:30 – 8:00 at Oak Bay Track
Soccer: Thursdays April 7 to June 23, 6:30 – 8:00 at SMUS
Softball: Tuesdays April 5 to June 21, 6:00 – 8:00 at Cedar Hill Rec
T-ball: Wednesdays April 6 to June 22, 6:30 – 8:00 at Horner Park
