Junior School Illustrates the Virtues

by Kathleen Cook, Chair of the Leadership Committee

This week, the students of the Junior School prepared for a very special visit by Linda Kavelin Popov, founder of The Virtues Project. The students are taught the language of the virtues at the Junior School and each month a new virtue is highlighted through stories, chapel talks, assemblies, classroom discussions and life skills classes. This month, the children are focussing on the virtue of respect and the Grade 5 students have created a special display in the entrance to the school. Each student has contributed a square of “The Virtue Quilt” made of paper. The entire community is looking forward to welcoming Linda as she speaks with parents on Thursday evening and spends the day with the children on Friday.
