Spooky Day at SMUS
Halloween is always a big deal at SMUS, with students and staff donning some truly fabulous costumes each year. This year, the Middle School decided to switch up their traditional costume parade outside with an improvised red carpet in the gymnasium, where they held costume contests for most original, most scary and best group costume. Each grade also did a quick runway walk to show their stuff. The more spirited Senior School students headed to Wenman to take part in the eat-a-donut-on-a-string contest, to buy some baked goods, and to scramble over the rugby field in pursuit of candy.

I hope that there was some education on the origins of Halloween. It’s a celtic tradition.
